Specifically for making India Pale Ale, or to impart some of the oak characteristics derived from barrel aging. Enough to treat 1 batch. Steam for 10-15 minutes. Spread evenly on a baking sheet and bake for 10 minutes in an oven pre-heated @ 375 degrees. Add to secondary for 2 days prior to bottling. Longer additions will impart a bourbon flavor characteristic.
